It all makes sense now! The Manga spoiler was hidden in the Anime and we didn't even realise!

Oh my God! So many favourites and comments overnight! Amazing!
And what makes it even more relevant to the Manga is that there's the Kishin eye things which makes it even more Feelz Worthy.
By the way, I know that Maka doesn't die BUT, like one comment said, it WAS a spoiler, kinda, of Maka getting injured. I so glad she didn't die, although it would be cute to see Soul holding her like that and then going all 'Black Blood' and attacking the Kishin to 'avenge his lover (Maka)' :3

They probably didn't do Maka's death at the last second because the finale was in a rush. Clearly there was a purpose for this to happen but it seems they decided not to do it.
